February 1, 2019 Deadline to call (402) 444-6734 to schedule a preliminary meeting with your personal appraiser in the Douglas County Assessor/Register of Deeds' Office to discuss 2019 preliminary values.
March 1, 2019 To submit information to the Assessor/Register of Deeds' Office for Preliminary Meetings, all information must be received in the Assessor/Register of Deeds' Office no later than March 1, 2019.
June 1, 2019 The first day real property valuation protests can be filed with the Douglas County Board of Equalization (BOE).
June 1, 2019 The first day the Board of Equalization (BOE) is open to the public.
July 1, 2019

The last day real property valuation protests can be filed with the BOE.

August 10, 2019 On or before August 10, 2019, the BOE will determine final 2019 property valuations for all real property valuation protests that were reviewed by the BOE and its referees.
September 10, 2019 The last day to file an appeal of the BOE’s decision to the Tax Equalization and Review Commission (TERC). For more info on TERC, visit https://terc.nebraska.gov/.
